The libraries of the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese American University, Notre-Dame University and the University of Balamand -- four private institutions - established the Lebanese Academic Library Consortium (LALC), the first library consortium in Lebanon.
With the leading medical publishers, TechKnowledge has commenced the LALC (Lebanese Academic Library Consortium) for the acquisition of the best medical sources such as Science (AAAS) and McGraw Hill Medical Products.
All LALC members work together in the selection, pricing negotiations and access methods of electronic resources for the best interests of their universities and their library users.
